Reactivity Test Report
ROLLESTON COAL - GLENCORE REACTIVITY TEST november 2024 | QMR11-11-24A
Testing of samples using AEISG code testing for reactivity over a period of 7 days.
Samples Tested from Batch Received
Results:
Table 1 -AEISG Test Results
Table 2 - QMR Test Results
Each sample was assessed for reactivity risk based on pH, carbonate content, reactive sulphide content and coal content using the QMR Reactive Ground Test. Four samples have more than 1% reactive sulphide with a maximum reacive sulphide of 2.3%. These low levels of reactive sulphide will produce limited heat energy should a reaction occur. All samples are alkaline inhibiting a reaction when tested as per the AEISG Code of Practice.
Conclusion:
All samples were found to be not reactive when tested as per the AEISG Code of Practice and the QMR Test.
